Kogi to shut down unregistered schools in September, 2021

Attention: Proprietors of unregistered Private Schools

NOTICE FOR THE COMMENCEMENT OF REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR ALL UNREGISTERED PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN KOGI STATE

All Proprietors of Private Schools whose schools are yet to be formally registered are hereby invited for a meeting aimed at facilitating the process for speedy registration. Those concerned are to come to the venue with all relevant documents and details of school(s) to be registered.
Note: failure to comply with this directive shall be met with stiff penalty: any unregistered school that fails to comply shall be closed down in September, 2021 and the Proprietor of such school shall be arrested for prosecution.

Venue: MOEST Conference Hall

Time: 8:00 am daily

  1. Monday 30th August 2021
    LGA: Lokoja, Ajaokuta, Kogi
  2. Tuesday: 31st August, 2021,
    LGA: Okene, Okehi, Adavi
  3. Wednesday: 1st September, 2021
    LGA: Kabba/Bunu, Ijumu, Ogori/Magongo
  4. Thursday: 2nd September, 2021
    LGA: MopaMuro, Yagba East, Yagba West
  5. Friday: 3rd September, 2021
    LGA: Ankpa, Olamaboro, Omala,
  6. Monday: 6th September, 2021
    LGA: Idah, Igalamela/Odolu, Ibaji
  7. Tuesday 7th September, 2012
    LGA: Dekina, Bassa, Ofu
